This position is based in Rangiora and will work along side the Home share Host.
You will support the clients in the group with the activities as agreed on by the clients themselves. This will include trips out in the van for kai, events and places of interest.
You will be there to provide support and reassurance and assist with the morning teas and lunch when appropriate.
There will be open and effective communication with the Home share Host and with the individuals.
This is a new role. If you have experience with people with dementia it would be an advantage. If not, don't worry full training with be provided.
You will be a great communicator with the ability to have patience and understanding.
