Position: Tour Guides - Ngaio Marsh House and Heritage Trust. We are committed to preserving, maintaining and promoting the Ngaio Marsh House and the creative works of Dame Ngaio Marsh.
We wish to induct new Tour Guides to join our team in taking visitors through the life, home and garden of Dame Ngaio Marsh, here in Christchurch.. Do you enjoy meeting people from all over the world? Perhaps you have a personal interest in Crime Writing/Theatrical Directing or Art, if so we would love to hear from you. As a tour guide you will be responsible for:
…. Bringing your warm personality and confident communication skills.
.… Assisting visitors with directions and questions.
… Hosting tours that captivate, educate, and give the tourists the experience they desire.
… Sharing activities and interesting facts within the house and garden.
Induction:
…. Appropriate Induction/support will be given by a Tour Guide.
Duration: Tours run for one hour, weekly, on Tuesdays 10.30am & 12 noon, Saturdays, & Sundays at 2 pm with a maximum of 10 people per tour.
Objective of Being a Ngaio Marsh Tour Guide:
… Join a diverse team of like-minded volunteers.
… Ignite your passion for the Arts, history and share it with our Visitors.
