The person should be organised and be prepared to attend our monthly meetings and provide a full statement of income and outgoings to the Committee each month. They also need to take any cash to be banked on a weekly basis.
The Mairehau Library provides a great selection of books for all ages and a quiet area for the local community to use for meetings, studying and tutoring.
The person taking on this role must have experience in dealing with finance.
They need to be able to set up a spreadsheet showing income and outgoings and bring the monthly statement to meetings.
They need to have the ability to apply for additional funding for the Library from various trusts and foundations.
They are not required to be a Library assistant as well, although that would be a bonus for us.
