The Stormwater Superhero Trailer, a collaboration between Christchurch Envirohub, Christchurch city council and Environment Canterbury, is a mobile educational tool aimed at raising awareness about stormwater pollution and its impact on our waterways. The trailer consists of two 3D model games showing paths of both treated and untreated water but also, the ideal paths for the native long fin tuna eel to take in order to survive. Additionally it is equipped with a touch screen TV providing further multichoice educational games and an educational movie around stormwater.
Background or tertiary education in environmental science, ecology, stormwater related qualifications. Confidence in approaching and speaking to strangers. Friendly attitude and social skills are a must.
Training will be provided and having your own transport would be advantageous as the events occur all around Christchurch.
This position has opportunity to grow into a paid role.
Weekends and weekdays (approximately 17 events per year)
