Do you love to bake and cook? Matawhaiti Residence run by Department of Corrections in Templeton Christchurch is looking for a friendly volunteers to support our men's residents in our care to teach baking recipes and cook simple meal. Each residents has their own learning style and level. You will be adaptable and supportive of the resident's own goals in their learning journey and supportive environment with resources provided.
Fabulous people skills, willing and able to create a warm and friendly atmosphere. Sensitivity, understanding and respect for our diverse community.
A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.
At least once a week for one to two hours or depending on your availability. Between Monday and Friday.
