Dame Ngaio Marsh lived most of her life in Cashmere and her house is preserved much as it was when she lived there. The Ngaio Marsh House and Heritage Trust now run Ngaio Marsh House as a museum. Help us to tell the story of this world-renowned crime writer.
Ngaio Marsh House and Heritage Trust is looking for a Grants Coordinator to join our team of committed and engaged volunteers.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Maintaining a list of upcoming grants opportunities, their requirements and due dates
• Writing grant applications, including pulling all the required documentation together
• Monitoring when accountabilities are due
• Writing accountabilities for successful grants
• Researching new opportunities for grants
Excellent written communication skills and able to tell a compelling story
• Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook
Preferred
• Prior experience in writing successful grant applications and accountabilities
• Previous involvement within the voluntary sector.
• An understanding of heritage values and environment issues.

You are welcome to do the mahi when it suits you, as long as you meet the deadlines for reporting to the Trustees and Funders. We estimate the role will take 20 – 25 hours a month.
