Clubs & Societies Day for Older Adults

On 2 March, we attended the second Clubs and Societies Day (for older adults) at Turanga Library. As always, it was an honour to engage with a wide variety of people and represent volunteering. We look forward to helping many more people make a difference through volunteering!

I Love Brighton

On 8 February, we were delighted to be part of the annual “I Love Brighton” event! There were loads of activities for the young and not so young, crafts, food, and local musicians entertaining throughout the day, including an enthusiastic Kapa Haka team from Rawhiti School. A stunningly hot Summer afternoon brought out the crowds, and we met lots of interesting people! Thanks to everyone to came by our stand to say “hi”!

Clubs and Societies Day for Younger People

On 30 January we represented volunteering at the first Clubs and Societies Day (for younger people), set up in Turanga Central Library. It was inspiring to be alongside a number of other amazing community groups, all encouraging young people to get involved in their communities.
