Group Volunteers - St Andrews' College Preparatory School at Richmond Community Gardens

On 14 May a team of enthusiastic students from the St Andrew’s College Preparatory School were ‘buzzing’ from their time at Richmond Community Gardens… getting involved in the community is a great way for our young people to experience making a difference, being active citizens, leadership… all while having some fun! Thanks team STAC!!

Group Volunteers - US Embassy Youth Council at Richmond Community Gardens

On 12 May a small group of hardy souls from the US Embassy Youth Council endured the freezing wet conditions, to help out at the Richmond Community Gardens. The team put together a set of woven frames on the garden beds, contributing to the continuous development of the fungi farm. Things are really starting to take shape now!

Family Volunteering Day at Linwood Park

On 18 April, we repeated our popular family volunteering painting event with over 40 participants! We painted the remaining sides of the toilet block walls at Linwood Park, and once again the outcome was most impressive! Thank you to all the families who came along, young and old, you made a real difference! We look forward to seeing many of you again next time.

Clubs & Societies Day for Older Adults

On 2 March, we attended the second Clubs and Societies Day (for older adults) at Turanga Library. As always, it was an honour to engage with a wide variety of people and represent volunteering. We look forward to helping many more people make a difference through volunteering!
