Our Meals on Wheels service supports vulnerable people who are ill or disabled who are living at home and would otherwise struggle to provide healthy meals for themselves. We need volunteers keen to deliver a hot meal once a week or fortnightly, Monday to Friday (not public holidays) in Richmond Pick up is the Richmond Working men's carpark at 11.45a.m.If you have some spare time on your hands, have a friendly disposition, and would like to become a Meals on Wheels driver, please contact one of our Meals on Wheels coordinators.
min age 18years. Valid drivers license. Vehicle with a valid registration (rego) and warrant of fitness. Two character references. We'll train you on how to carry out the role and you will be supported by Red Cross Meals on Wheels coordinators and other volunteers.
Meal pick up is 10.45 a.m. Monday to Friday. A shift usually takes up to two hours. Days are flexible and can fit with your availability.
