Our mission is to improve the lives of vulnerable people by mobilising the power of humanity and enhancing community resilience. Every day we help vulnerable people all around New Zealand — supporting them in times of disaster or emergency, helping new Kiwis resettle here, or delivering hot meals and other community services.

Volunteer Retail assistant. Red Cross. Waimate Canterbury
We sell second-hand clothing and household items. They provide affordable shopping for the community, funding for our humanitarian work, and support sustainability through recycling.
Red Cross Shop. Geraldine
We are looking for friendly and reliable volunteers for our Geraldine Red Cross Op Shop during shop hours on Tuesdays (10am-3.30pm), Thursdays (10am-3pm) and Saturdays (10am-12.30pm). We need two volunteers each day the shop is open.
Disaster Welfare and Support Team volunteer - Timaru
We have a need of committed multi-skilled volunteers for our Disaster Welfare and Support Team in Timaru. The team trains weekly in Timaru reduced to fortnightly in Winter. Applications can be made at anytime.
