We require friendly volunteers to deliver meals from our Richmond Club pick up point to surrounding suburbs including, St Albans, Shirley, Richmond and in the city. Shifts start and end at the Richmond Club. Meal pickup time is 11a.m. Monday to Friday. We do offer a contribution towards petrol. If you are available once a week, fortnight or monthly or even as an on call driver we would love to hear from you.
Friday min age 18years. Valid drivers license. Vehicle with a valid registration (rego) and warrant of fitness. Two character references. We'll train you on how to carry out the role and you will be supported by Red Cross Meals on Wheels coordinators and other volunteers.
Meal pick up is 10.45 a.m. Monday to Friday. A shift usually takes up to two hours. Days are flexible and can fit with your availability.
