We're looking for friendly volunteers to deliver meals from our Redwood pick up point to surrounding suburbs including Bishopdale, Papanui, Papanui North, Redwood, Belfast and Kaipoi.
Shifts start and end at the St Silas Church on Main North Road, and meal pickup time is 11.10am Mon-Fri. we do offer a contribution towards petrol. If you are available once a week, fortnight, month or even as an on-call driver, we would love to hear from you.

Requirements:

min age 18years. Valid drivers license. Vehicle with a valid registration (rego) and warrant of fitness. Two character references. We'll train you on how to carry out the role and you will be supported by Red Cross Meals on Wheels coordinators and other volunteers.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Commitment Meal pick up is 11.10 a.m. Monday to Friday. A shift usually takes up to two hours. Days are flexible and can fit with your availability.
