The Rangiora Boxing Club is a small committee run club based in Rangiora, North Canterbury. Our goal is to promote the sport of boxing and provide a safe and supportive environment for our members. The club is not for profit and relies heavily on funding to cover the cost of rent, power, equipment and other expenses.
We are seeking a motivated individual to fill the role of Funding Coordinator. The Funding Coordinator would be responsible for the overall management of our funding applications and received grants. The key focuses would be to keep track when current funding expires, make applications for new funding and close out any accountability/audit requirements after funding is spent.
We do additional fundraising events from time to time, you would not be required to manage or participate but if this is an area you can help with we would welcome the assistance.
We also meet once monthly in an evening in Rangiora to discuss general club matters. It would be ideal if you are available to attend these meetings on a regular basis and provide a contribution to the overall running and decision making of the club. We have an Annual General Meeting once a year which attendance is required for.
No prior knowledge of boxing is required and we have an existing list of funders, training will be provided.
If you are interested in this role please email Rangioraboxingclub@gmail.com Attn: Neil to apply, please provide a short statement about yourself and any relevant experience.
