We will be planting trees in Area 5C, accessed from Duncan Park. It is a 15 minute uphill walk to the planting site.
This is a steep site and there are a number of natural hazards, including uneven terrain, rocks and under-runners. The grass has grown long and it may be slippery in places.
A full H&S briefing including what to wear and bring will be sent by email a couple of days prior.
If the weather is poor, we will postpone.
Please contact Bill Martin manager@summitroadsociety.org.nz , text 027 389 0030 with any queries.
Please dress for the conditions - we recommend layers, good tramping or walking shoes, a jacket and a hat. A reasonable level of fitness is required.
Own transport essential.
