We are in search of a community-oriented, enthusiastic, and hospitable volunteer to assist with our Friday Share Kai Cafe' and manage the Saturday Multicultural Centre Cafe'. The goal of these cafes is to activate the Multicultural Centre as a safe space. Through the provision of kai, we aim to create an avenue for individuals from diverse backgrounds, nationalities, ethnicities, and walks of life to come together, foster connections, and cultivate mutual understanding.
Responsibilities:
A. Friday Share Kai Cafe'
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
• Flexibility to work weekends.
Friday from 10am to 2pm
Saturday from 8.30am to 1.30pm

The persons will be in charge of opening and closing the Multicultural Centre, with access to entrance codes and alarm codes. Moreover, they will be fundraising on behalf of the Multicultural Recreation and Community Centre Charitable Trust, managing petty cash.
