Each Radio Lollipop Volunteer has a commitment to provide 3 hours per week of interactive play with children using a comprehensive range of fun and interactive activities developed over the years by Radio Lollipop.
A broadcast radio studio is part of the armoury of activities in our “toy box” providing a unique child-orientated programme of interactive competitions, music, stories and games. All of our work is in pairs so you are never on your own and full training/support is given.
If this sounds like you we are holding a compulsory Information Evening on 12th August - venue TBC.
We outline our role in greater detail, show you the great work we do and it gives you a chance to find out if this is for you.
Once you have attended this evening we send you the application form. This role contributes to United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3 - Good Health and Wellbeing.
Weekly for 3 hours - this can be on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. 5.30-8.30 (which includes setting up and packing up).
