Volunteering as a Youth Leader will see you responsible for delivering a high-quality Youth Program at your local Division, including planning, resourcing, delivery and assessing. Ultimately the aim is to ensure all activities are safe yet loaded with fun and adventure for all participants, whilst taking care to ensure they are in line with Hato Hone St John policy. Our Youth Leaders also provide leadership, mentoring and support to Divisional NCO's, and encourage maximum participation in district and regional activities. Relief Leader - Similar to that of a Youth Leader, our Relief Leaders are also responsible for the delivery of a high-quality Youth Program at Divisions' - but, on an as needed basis. They also provide leadership, mentoring and support to NCO's when supporting Divisions, events, camps or functions. As this volunteer role is on an 'as needed basis', the role sits within a District rather than a specific Division which means the Division in which you attend may not the be same one each time - however, it will be within your District and therefore close to where you live. Project Volunteer - providing support on the delivery of long or short-term projects across the Youth Program for the Region and Districts, this Project Volunteer role could be as a subject matter expert (SME), advisory or for development purposes. These projects may see you leading programmes and/or projects of work which could include things such as camps, competitions, events and / or special interest groups. You will also be required to provide leadership, mentoring and support to Youth Members and NCO's who may also be working on the same project.
