We are looking for people with a strong mental health and well-being background, who can give professional insights and contributions.
Responsibilities as members of the advisory group are to actively engage in group meetings (whether in person or virtually), offering insights and providing recommendations whilst upholding confidentiality and fostering an inclusive, supportive environment.

Volunteer members need to possess a combination of the following skills, experience and attributes:
Mental Health and Addiction subject matter expert, qualified in Mental Health.
Mental Health and Addiction - one member with lived experience and/or strong connections to the local community of mental health and addiction service users.
Well-being subject matter expert.
Māori - one member with strong connections to Māori communities.
Pasifika - one member with strong connections to Pasifika communities.
The remaining members will be appointed to reflect the following areas of interest:
A mix of urban and rural representatives, youth mental health, older person's mental health, disability, education, technology, product development and innovation.
Experience in creating content/training, programme development and evaluation.
A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.
Your Commitment:
Attend an online hui at least once per month.
Attend our 8-hour Mental Health First Aid course, offered free of charge.
Provide regular insights, expertise and feedback on our courses and course development.
Occasional participation in a face-to-face hui, with travel expenses covered.
Uphold confidentiality and actively foster an inclusive, supportive environment.
The initial term of the group is 12 months, during which we will make a lasting impact.
